Paris Interpreters Practice Sessions - PIPS
Regular readers of our blog will know that we at Apertis Verbis are big fans of practice groups and today we are pleased to announce the launch of the PIPS practice group in Paris - an initiative similar to IBPG that has been launched by Arnaud Prêtre and myself (Ele)......
We are delighted to announce the launch of PIPS - the Paris Interpreters Practice Sessions!
The aim of this initiative is to enable professional or budding conference interpreters to work on improving their skills together in a friendly environment. The group is open to everyone who is a qualified interpreter!
Sessions will take place twice a month at ISIT and it is free to take part - all you need to do is be willing to provide speeches, feedback and practice together. To sign up and for further information please email us at:paristerpspracticesessions@gmail.com
We look forward to seeing you at our first session on 9 October where we will have FR<>EN simultaneous and a parallel consecutive session with FR/EN as the floor language!
